to all Bongolians on earth and throughout the galaxy, except
Neptune: Simpsons Comics #100 is 100 pages of brilliance... Or
is it? Did it live up to it's potential/expectation?Firstly, a great effort for the Bongo group to have reached #100! A very smart, plot twisting and retrospective story this publication contains. It is very, very well done. This special 100-page issue is a full-length story (and with no advertisements) in which Bart discovers that he and all of Springfield have been the subjects of 100 comic books. When he tries to find as many issues as he can, he uncovers the greatest mystery in comics collecting. In relation to the retrospective factor I said before, this comic takes you on a history flashback of Bongo's past Simpsons Comics stories. Not only that, they re-tell the most memorable and most hilarious stories Simpsons Comics have to offer. They also include never before told stories which are also excellent in conjunction with past material. The whole concept works so well together with the new and old interchanging with each other and you never lose track of what's going on. The best part is that, if you have missed past Simpsons Comics, this issue basically contains the best stories previously been published. Presentation is flawless. Fantastic opening message by Matt Groening which sets the tone for this comic and great back cover which shows all 100 issues of the Simpsons Comics. No errors at all. The  actual
cover art though could have been a bit more creative, but
nevertheless it relates to the story and it's perfectly fine.
That's me being picky.The graphics again is viewers pleasure! Excellent colours, textures, art, drawings, backgrounds, characters, the works! Everything is spot on. It takes stories from previous Bongo issues of the Simpsons Comics and have updated the visuals which is very appealing. This issue's strongest point is the story! Absolute genius. If you are ever going to laugh or have a good time reading a Simpsons Comic then this is the issue for you. Very amusing! From start to finish. It's pure joy. I really don't have anything else to say other then, it's brilliant! Have I said that already? Spectacular! As the comic book guy would say, 'Best. Issue. Ever.'
