The Good, The Bad & The Ugly. If you haven't got
a particular issue yet, consider reading my official reviews to see if they are worth adding
to your collection. |
Rating System
All comics are rated on:
Presentation: The layout of the whole comic and how it is
presented, how images are placed, speech bubbles, errors and the total effect it gives
and has on
the reader.
Graphics: The artwork being presented. Is it clear, sharp,
does it contain acuity? Colours used and textures of the comic.
Story: How well does it engage the reader. Good storyline/references/parodies,
humorous, entertaining and jokes/puns used.
Overall: Sum up of the whole comic. Conclusion, should you
consider reading it, adding it to your collection or even bother
with it?
All comics will be rated out of a 100%. Simply, the higher the score, the
better it is.
Note: It's IMPORTANT to remember that comics are
also scored according to their respective series. For example, a
monthly issue (Simpsons Comics) that may have scored higher then
a TreeHouse of Horror comic is not necessarily better. TreeHouse
of Horror comics will be compared to previous TreeHouse of
Horror comics that have already came out and Simpsons Comics
will be compared to monthly Simpsons Comics. For comics that
only have 2 or 1 issue(s) in the series (Lisa or Crossover
series), they are rated on how enjoyable the overall experience
is to read along with the current rating system.
Comics follow
in order of series and in order of The
Simpsons Comic Guide.
