Rain NYC154

Rain and his housemates all lost their home when their owner died. The fellow had a penchant for magnificent blue-eyed angoras and white cats. These are all very cuddly cats who were horribly starved when they arrived and ate everything in such a panic, it was like feeding pyranhas, but we're happy to say that they're much more relaxed about their food service now! They are nicknamed the dishwashers because their plates are so sparkly when they're through you'd wonder if they left the porcelain on them!

Princess Jackie NYC192

Hullo! I'm Princess Jackie, a shy but sweet chocolate point girl who was born outside to my lovely chocolate point mom when our ex-owner sold the house and just left us - can you imagine?! I was very afraid of people, perhaps because of however my mom and sister disappeared. We suspect foul play! I can't talk about whatever I saw happen to them, but I was smart enough to run away and hide until I was rescued by a kind neighbor. I need a patient person for my next home who can let me overcome my timidity.

Dorie NYC206

Dorie is more playful and petite than her brother Frosty but she still has the plush Birman coat, with beautiful golden eyes and adorable chubby cheeks! Dorie also has a great sense of comedy, finding creative hiding places that are sure to make you laugh! This fluffy bunny loves curling up for a cuddle in your arms, but she might just leap out when you least expect it!

Friskie NYC236

I'm Friskie, a heart-breaker of a tabby-siamese mix from Princess Jackie's house. You can see my meezer-liness in my long oriental body shape, tall ears, and triangular head, as well as my siamese smarts! I'm a timid but gentle boy who gets along well with other cats and slow-moving humans.

Miss Marjorie NYC252

Miss Marjorie is a lovely lynxpoint girl who was trapped on Staten Island in an area where she'd been threatened by dogs. This beauty with her gorgeous frosted blue eyes is a bit fearful, hissing if you reach for her too quickly or pick her up, but purring when you scratch her ears. We're still trying to figure her out!

Christopher NYC253

Hey, there, I'm Christopher and I want you to pet me, pet me, pet me! I'm the most adoring blue snowshoe boy and I love being held and cuddled, or maybe I'm just appreciative of being in a safe place with regular meals. I talk, as you'll hear, and ask for your attention. I was turned in to the city pound as a stray, but trust me, I'm not the sort to run off with another. If you're looking for an intense and rewarding relationship, apply for me!

Sapphire NYC256

Sapphire is a lovely seal snowshoe girl who was trapped in Bethpage, Long Island. She was horribly skinny and had lost one eye; who knows how she survived? She's frightened but we hope she'll calm down soon! And an update: this shy girl is more afraid of other cats and dogs than humans! She'll actually relax on your lap and is comforted by being held!
