Your family could have an unforgettable holiday in this charming timber house (trees used to built this house had been planted in the 18th century). It is located in the Kolodno village in the heart of the wild ancient Knyszyn Forest where wolves and bison can still be found. The small unspoiled Ploska river flows within walking distance of the house.
The area is wild, sparsely populated and very safe. Around the village there is a huge natural forest. There is no permanent shop in the village, but three times a week a mobile shop arrives. There is another shop 2200 meters from the house - in Krolowy Most - where you can get almost everything you need. You can walk there; you can ride a bike (bikes are waiting for you in the barn). In the village, you can buy fresh eggs, home made cheese and home baked traditional bread - just like in the past.
If you are tired of the world, this is the place for you to experience solitude... it is very quiet and peaceful. Inside the house you will find a radio, tapes with good music and also a telephone.
Even on a cold winter day it is warm in the house. There is a natural heating system installed. It offers warm water, shower, bathroom and a kitchen with a refrigerator. Outside the house there is a traditional cellar cool-room built with stones.
There are two rooms on the second floor with four beds (three single-beds and one double). On the first floor there is also an extra bed (if you need more - they are available). There is a big balcony on the second floor.
