This cave has the largest natural cave entrance in Wales.

If the level of the river is low enough you are able to walk as far as the ‘White Horse Pool’.

From here on
you must have caving experience and equipment to explore the various tunnels that lead off
 

Do not attempt to enter 'The White Horse Pool'

THE water is very deep and extremely cold  

Deaths have occured in this cave!

These caves are one of Europe's major show cave systems



There are a number of other cave systems in the area
but these are for experienced cavers only!  

Some can be found near Penwwllt.   Grid Ref. SN855157  

Further cave systems can be found on the Llangatock  Escarpment near Chrickhowel.
